Referrals

Invite friends to Grove and earn a cut of every tip they receive.

How It Works​

  1. Copy your unique referral link from Settings → Referrals
  2. Share it with friends
  3. When they sign up using your link, they become your referral
  4. You earn 2% commission on all tips they receive for 1 year

Every Grove account gets a unique referral link in the format:

https://grove.city/?ref=GRV-XXXXXX

Copy it from Settings → Referrals and share it anywhere — social media, DMs, your bio.

Tracking​

The Referrals section in Settings shows:

  • Referred Friends — List of people who signed up with your link, including their join date and tip activity
  • Friends Joined — Total number of referrals
  • Your Earnings — Total commission earned in USD, with payout count
  • Tips to Referees — Total tips your referrals have received (all-time)

Commission Details​

  • Rate: 2% of all tips your referrals receive
  • Duration: 1 year from the date each friend signs up
  • Payout: Commission is paid in real-time as part of each tip transaction, taken from Grove's 10% fee — creators receive the same amount whether they were referred or not

Were You Referred?​

If a friend referred you to Grove, sign up using their referral link to connect your accounts. You'll see a prompt in Settings → Referrals if you're eligible to add a referrer.
